Improve the encyclopedia
on bacterial defenses.

Wikipedia FR and EN have uneven articles on bacterial anti-phage defense systems. Some are stubs, others completely missing, others have obsolete sources. Improving these articles benefits two commons at once: Wikipedia and Bactaegion. This is gnome work — structurally recognized here by the dedicated badge.

Three levels of action
① Improve existing article

Add a seminal reference

Add the published seminal DOI, correct an obsolete fact, update a section. Effort: 15-30 min. Pushback risk: low if DOI is recent and reviewed.

② Expand a stub

Move a stub to medium article

Add 2-3 substantial paragraphs with secondary sources (review, chapter, reference paper). Effort: 2-4 h. Pushback risk: moderate.

③ Create a new article

Create a missing article

Check notability first. Effort: 4-8 h. Pushback risk: high if published too early. Ask on WikiProject Molecular Biology first.
